The Jovem Pesquisador AWARD of ABRH is a way of recognizing and valuing the young talent and showing the community the work that stood out in the Brazilian Symposium on Water Resources. It is an important milestone for all those competing, but especially for the finalists who leave their names registered in the memory of ABRH and become reference among colleagues and for the following editions.
The last finalists for the award, delivered in Bento Gonçalves during the course of the XX Brazilian Symposium on Water Resources, were: Felipe Eugenio de Oliveira Vaz Sampaio; Fernando Mainardi Fan and Fernando Neves Lima.
In recent editions of the Award, the finalists have received special attention and prominent space in presentations of their work.
In the next edition, during the Symposium of Brasilia, once again is scheduled a plenary session to present the three finalists, with prime time in the event's program.
To compete, it is necessary for the author of the work:
1) to be a member in good standing of ABRH (annuity paid off in 2015);
2) to have a maximum age of 30 in 2015.
